Addendum "A"
Portage Youth Wrestling Club
​$500.00 Scholarship
​

I. Scholarship Award: Person selected will receive $500.00 for the second semester of college if all of the following eligibility requirements are met.

     a.  Must have participated in the Portage High School Wresting Program as a wrestler or manager during their                  Junior or Senior years at Portage High School.
     b.  Must have lettered in Varsity Wrestling at least once at Portage High School.
     c.  Must attend an accredited 4 year college or a 2 year technical school.
     d.  Must have received a 2.5 grade point average or better on a 4.0 grade scale and completed 12 semester                      credits (or equivalent) or more in the first semester to receive $500.00 for the second semester.
     e.  Must have contributed in a positive way to the promotion of the sport of wrestling in the Portage community.
     f.  Must have displayed desire, dedication, good sportsmanship and supported the team philosophy throughout                 their wrestling career.
     g.  Must have completed the first semester of college or technical school within 1 year of graduation from Portage            High School.

II.  The Scholarship Committee shall consist of the Executive Board
     a.  Selection Process
          i.  Committee will review applications received and select scholarship recipient.
     b.  Committee reserves the right to decline scholarship to recipient if requirements are not met.
